The Reincarnation Case of Elvis Presley | Ray Dylan
Article by: Walter Semkiw, MD & Anonymous
A university lecturer with a doctorate, who lives in South Africa, forwarded a hypothesis regarding the reincarnation of Elvis Presley, which was subsequently affirmed in a session with Kevin Ryerson. This individual's message to me is provided below:
“The singer I am referring to is Ray Dylan. He sings mostly in his mother tongue, Afrikaans. His real name is Jacobus Frederik Jersich. I read that he is known as ‘Jaco’ to his family and ‘Jakes’ to his friends. I have also noticed in the media that some fans address him as 'Raytjie,' a diminutive form of Ray.
Ray was born on August 15.1978, on the first anniversary of Elvis Presley’s death, in Odendaalsrus, South Africa. He currently resides in Vanderbijlpark in Gauteng in South Africa.
Recently, a local news magazine ran an article about Ray Dylan and featured him on the cover. I thought he looked a bit like Elvis Presley, and when I read that Ray has a near-obsession about Elvis and that he was born exactly one year after Elvis’s death, I started wondering about the possibility that he could be a reincarnation of Elvis.
From that point onwards, every time this magazine had a feature on Ray Dylan, there was also an article on Elvis Presley elsewhere in the magazine—for example an article about a lady in England who has a very big collection of Elvis memorabilia. These synchronicities went on for some time. Then a popular Afrikaans TV show featured an interview with Ray Dylan–barely a week after Oprah Winfrey’s famous interview with Lisa-Marie Presley was broadcast on TV in South Africa.
I was pleasantly surprised when I watched the TV interview with Ray. He is very charming and has an endearing personality. He is also a very, very talented singer and guitar player (apparently Ray has 41 guitars at home). He produces music too.
There seem to be many parallels between Ray’s and Elvis’s lives. Ray struggled at school and did not enjoy it very much. All that he wanted to do was to work in the music industry. Ray lost his beloved father a few years ago. It took him a long time to get over this loss. He became a close friend of one of his late father’s old friends.
This friend had a young daughter. By the time she turned 16, Ray was already in love with her. She felt the same. They started going out. As she was so young, Ray kept their relationship hidden from the public. When she turned 18, they eventually went public about their romance. They have since moved in together and they are expecting a baby, hoping for a girl!
Ray said in the above-mentioned TV interview that he has always had a very strong admiration for Elvis Presley and regards him as the king of music. Ray has been to Graceland and to Elvis’s grave. He also sings some of Elvis’s songs. I’ve also read on the Ray’s website that his all-time favorite book is 'The History of Elvis Presley.'"
As noted, Ahtun Re did confirm this match. If this reincarnation case is accepted, it demonstrates the following features:
Innate Talent: Ray demonstrates natural musical ability, reflecting the career of Elvis Presley.
Change of Nationality from One Incarnation to Another: Elvis was born in the United States, while Ray is a native of South Africa.
Anniversary Phenomenon: Ray was born on the first anniversary of the death of Elvis.
Affinity Case: Ray Dylan has demonstrated an intense affinity and obsession with Elvis Presley. Ray has even visited the grave of Elvis Presley. I term cases where individuals are attracted to their own past life personas as affinity cases.
Similarly, a remarkable set of affinity cases involves the reincarnation cases of Laurel and Hardy | Josh and Danny Bacher. Josh and Danny also had an obsession with Laurel and Hardy ever since early childhood. When in England, Josh and Danny made a significant effort to visit the grave of Stan Laurel. Another affinity case involves the reincarnation case of Dorothy Dandridge | Halle Berry, which is featured in Return of the Revolutionaries and Born Again.
