Learn About the Landscape of the Spiritual World

Since about the turn of the millennium, multiple, independently researched reincarnation cases have been published which demonstrate that from lifetime to lifetime, facial features, personality traits, passions, talents, aptitudes and linguistic writing style remain consistent. Many times married couples come back together, which explains the phenomenon of “love at first sight.”

Two independently researched cases which demonstrate these principles of reincarnation were studied by the late Ian Stevenson, MD, at the University of Virginia. For the past forty years, Dr. Stevenson, a former Chief of Psychiatry at the University of Virginia School of Medicine, researched children who spontaneously remember past lives. The Stevenson cases of Suzanne Ghanem and Daniel Jurdi not only demonstrate that facial features remain consistent from lifetime to lifetime, but that people can reincarnate very quickly, even a year or less following death. The observation that souls can reincarnate quickly implies that historical figures have returned in subsequent eras and may be incarnate today.

Many other independently researched cases, which demonstrate these principles of reincarnation, are found in my books, Return of the Revolutionaries and Born Again, including the cases of Indianapolis Police Captain Robert Snow and Westport Connecticut Assistant Fire Chief Jeffrey Keene. A formal linguistic analysis was done by a University of California, Berkeley, linguistics professor, regarding the case of Jeff Keene. This linguistic analysis revealed that Mr. Keene’s writing structure is the same as that of his past life persona, Civil War Confederate General John B. Gordon. The reincarnation cases of Jeff Keene and Robert Snow have been featured on television’s Proof Positive.

Another independently researched case involves Barbro Karlen, who has had memories since childhood of being Holocaust victim Anne Frank. At the age of ten, on her first trip to Amsterdam, Barbro knew the way to the Anne Frank House without directions and she knew where artifacts should have been located inside the Frank House, artifacts that had been removed for preservation. Barbro was a childhood writing prodigy, like Anne Frank.

Anne Frank was persecuted as a Jew and died in the Bergen-Belsen concentration camp in 1945, while Barbro Karlen was born into a Christian family in Sweden in 1954, demonstrating that religious, national and ethic affiliation can change from one incarnation to another. The observation that souls can change such affiliations, as revealed by scientific reincarnation research, has great societal implications. Indeed, if it was broadly understood that we can change religion from one incarnation to another, then the Holocaust and the events of 9/11 could have been prevented. It is the transformative effect that evidence of reincarnation will have on society that makes me passionate about reincarnation research.

Another set of reincarnation cases featured in my books have been solved through Kevin Ryerson, the trance medium who has worked with Shirley MacLaine for over twenty years and who is featured in three of her books, including Out on a Limb. Kevin channels a spirit guide named Ahtun Re, who has demonstrated the ability to make accurate past life matches. Cases solved through Ahtun Re, which demonstrate this ability, include those of Ralph Nader, Carl Sagan and Neale Donald Walsch. The case of Neale Donald Walsch, the author of the Conversations with God book series, provides an especially dramatic example of Ahtun Re’s ability to make past life matches, as it involves a very obscure past life for Mr. Walsch. Ahtun Re identified Neale as a little known minister in Revolutionary Boston, Reverend William Walter, who is not found in any history books. We located information and a portrait of Reverend Walter through historical and genealogical societies. Personality traits, talents and facial features match and Mr. Walsch agreed to be featured as a reincarnation case in my books. I have now worked with Kevin for over seven years and have had over 100 sessions with him. It is my extensive experience with Kevin and his spirit guide, Ahtun Re, which gives me confidence that reincarnation information provided by Ahtun Re is accurate. I utilize Ahtun Re to assess independently researched reincarnation cases and to derive new reincarnation cases.

To conduct reincarnation research, with a focus on objective evidence of reincarnation, we have founded a non-profit called IISIS, the Institute for the Integration of Science, Intuition and Spirit. IISIS is having a conference at the Marina del Rey Hotel October 3-5, 2008 where presenters will be telling there own reincarnation stories. In these cases, individuals have the same facial features, personality traits and talents as they did in prior incarnations. Presenters, who represent independently-researched cases, who will describe their past lives in-person will include:

Barbro Karlen, who has had memories since childhood of being Anne Frank
Peter Teekamp, who heard the word “Gauguin” echo in his mind as a child and who later unconsciously replicated the artistic development of Paul Gauguin
Norm Shealy, MD, PhD, who unexpectedly discovered a past lifetime as British physician John Elliotson and who was later intuitively guided to Elliotson’s office in London
Wayne Peterson, a retired US Diplomat and Director of the Fulbright Scholarship Program, who in childhood, had memories of two past lifetimes, which were later historically validated through the assistance of the Master Maitreya, a spiritual being similar to Ahtun Re,
Wilja Witcombe, a German national who was told by two separate, complete strangers in Sri Lanka that she is the reincarnation of Devanampiya Tissa, a king of ancient Ceylon. Wilja then realized that people she came to love in this lifetime were her family members in Ceylon.
Paul Armitage, who felt a rush of energy throughout his body when he heard the name of composer Edvard Grieg and found that he has the same dramatic white hair, facial features and musical style as Grieg. Paul will provide musical entertainment Friday evening at the gathering.
Erik Berglund, who spontaneously realized that he is the reincarnation of Hans Christian Andersen and who was later reunited with the reincarnation of the father of Andersen. Erik will provide entertainment on Saturday evening, which will feature storytelling, in the tradition of Hans Christian Andersen, and harp music.

Cases solved through Kevin Ryerson, who will participate in the conference include:

Hans Christian King, who has been named one of the top 5 psychics in the United States by the Miami Herald, has been identified as the reincarnation of Nostradamus. Hans’ own spirit guides concur with this past life match.
Paul-Felix Montez, a sculptor who has been identified as the reincarnation of Michelangelo. When I contacted Paul and told him of his proposed past lifetime, he related that he had already been called by others the “Michelangelo of Las Vegas.”
Josh and Danny Bacher, two Jewish brothers who have been identified as the reincarnation of Laurel & Hardy. When I contacted Josh and Danny to advise them of their proposed past lifetime, they immediately resonated to the matches. In fact, they had been pretending to be Laurel & Hardy since they were small boys. Josh and Danny have the same appearance as Stan and Ollie and they relate to each other in the same way. In their New York Off Broadway premier, they replicated the comedic development of Laurel and Hardy and they will be performing this same act, “The Funniest Show in the World,” in Marina del Rey on Sunday evening.

In addition to presenting objective evidence of reincarnation, the program will feature gifted clairvoyants and psychics who will describe the landscape of the spiritual world and contact with spiritual beings. These include:

Echo Bodine, who will describe her journey to the spiritual world in a near-death experience she voluntarily undertook
Judy Goodman, who will describe the levels of the spiritual world
Michael and Raphaelle Tamura, who will describe how healing can occur from the level of the soul
Felix Lee Lerma, who can communicate with the dead in the tradition of John Edward and James Van Praagh
Hans Christian King, who works with spirit guides and whose readings often focus on the future
Wayne Peterson, who has had contact with Maitreya and other Masters of Wisdom over a period of 30 years

Kevin Ryerson, a world famous trance channel who played himself in the movie version of Shirley MacLaine’s Out on a Limb and who has appeared on Oprah and other national programs. If people have the same facial features, personality traits and talents from one incarnation to another, it is possible that the soul may also program DNA. Clair Francomano, MD, former Clinical Director of the National Human Genome Research Institute, will discuss the state of the art of human genome research and ways that DNA may be utilized in reincarnation research.

I am told by Ahtun Re that one of the goals of human incarnation is to live life with joy. As such, to set the tone for the gathering, Swami Beyondananda will kick off proceedings on Friday evening with his renowned spiritual comedy. Attend this event, which is the first of its kind.

Biography

Walter is a medical doctor, having served as a Medical Director of Unocal 76, a Fortune 500 company, and as an Assistant Chief in Occupational Medicine at a major medical center in San Francisco, where he still practices. Walter graduated Phi Beta Kappa from the University of Illinois in Biology. He has a Masters Degree in Public Health.

Walter is the author of the Return of the Revolutionaries: The Case for Reincarnation and Soul Groups Reunited, published in the US, and Born Again, published in India and Serbia. An Indonesian version of Born Again will be published in 2008. Walter was featured on CNN in India in March 2006.

Walter serves on the board of the Intuition Network and for six years was on the board of IARRT (International Association for Regression, Research and Therapies). He is a founder and the President of IISIS (Institute for the Integration of Science, Intuition and Spirit). IISIS serves as a resource to archive, study and publish reincarnation cases. In addition, avenues to prove reincarnation though biochemical or biophysical means, such as DNA analysis, are being explored.
